The charge applies to each article formally accepted for publication. There is no fee to submit a manuscript and no separate editorial-review fee. Payment becomes due after acceptance and before publication.
1. When payment is due
Authors should not pay while an article is submitted or under review. After formal acceptance, the editorial office will send payment instructions from an official futureagriculture.co.in email address. The accepted article will be scheduled for publication after the INR 700 charge is received and verified. Payment does not guarantee acceptance and cannot influence an editorial decision.
2. Rejected articles
No article processing charge is payable for a rejected manuscript. If payment was requested or received in error before rejection, the amount will be refunded after verification.
3. Cancellation and author withdrawal
An author may request withdrawal by emailing chiefeditor@futureagriculture.co.in with the article title and corresponding-author details. No charge applies if the article is withdrawn before acceptance or before payment.
After payment, the INR 700 charge is normally non-refundable if the author withdraws the article or if editorial production, formatting or publication preparation has begun. All listed authors may be asked to confirm a withdrawal request. After publication, the correction, retraction and withdrawal rules in the Editorial Policy apply.
4. Cancellation by Future Agriculture
If Future Agriculture receives payment but is unable to publish the accepted article for reasons not caused by the author or a breach of journal policy, the article processing charge will be refunded. A later correction or retraction resulting from author error, rights infringement, misconduct or policy breach does not create a right to a refund.
5. Duplicate or incorrect payments
Duplicate payments and amounts paid above INR 700 will be refunded after verification. Contact the editorial office with the payer's name, article title, payment date, amount, transaction reference and proof of payment. Approved refunds are normally initiated within 7-10 business days through the original or another reasonable available payment method. Bank, currency-conversion or payment-provider charges outside Future Agriculture's control may affect the amount received.
6. Payment enquiries
Contact chiefeditor@futureagriculture.co.in before sending any payment. Do not pay a person or account that is not confirmed through the official futureagriculture.co.in address.
